Letters & Laurels: A DIY Experience for Mothers & Daughters

  • Sweetgrass Food Co. 1923 7th Avenue Seattle, WA, 98101 United States (map)

Join us for a hands-on Mother / Daughter DIY experience where you will dabble in the feminine arts, creating a table floral arrangement and designing a custom watercolor wreath monogram using locally sourced supplies. The backdrop will be the Sweetgrass Food Co., an white-washed airy space with deep roots in Seattle and wholesome 100% good food.

During the spring floral arranging class, you’ll learn the basics of floral arrangement, design techniques and how to make a beautiful table arrangement that will reflect your own aesthetic and personality. We’ll use a mixture of seasonal blooms and greenery.

During the painting and lettering class, you’ll create an elegant monogram incorporating letters and laurels with watercolor paints. If you’ve never picked up a brush before, you have nothing to fear. We’ll present a variety of laurel, leaf and lettering styles for you to create and customize a monogram for you or a loved one.

Crafting is more fun together, so bring your mom, sister, or a girlfriend and spend the afternoon in an inspiring space, creating your very own masterpiece!

All class supplies will be provided and light refreshments will be served.
