Miroja designs for gatherings, the home and brands to add that special touch to conversation, laughter and meaning to create long lasting moments and stories. Our inspiration for designing and styling things already beautiful originates from travels, connections and the relationships we build over our lifetime. We capture a small part of your story through our choice of medium, flowers and plants. We are artists in our own field.
Cherie Marquez is the creative director at Miroja. She brings over 10 years of design experience, 20+ years of professional experience and working with clients from all over the world. Cherie also teaches students through workshops. She teaches the fundamentals, but also using design to build confidence and provide encouragement to pursue their creative short and long term aspirations. She has partnered with brands such as Kinfolk, Anthropologie, Splendid, Free People, Crate and Barrel, West Elm, Stumptown, Eva Franco and Le Sportsac.
We carry a selection of floral and botanical goods and designs for your home. We curate our favorites made in the USA. We want to help you bring the outside in. Our selection is made for the minimalist and inspired by all things simple and natural. We support small businesses, makers and designers of small batch products. We also take pride that 100% of products sold are made by women. Miroja was named one of the best small shops by Seattle Met Magazine.
The second most important role in the story we design. We work with all things natural and like to capture the organic essence of what Mother Nature provides, keeping its simplicity. We do not manipulate their original presence or use harsh chemicals in our designs and look to reuse most materials throughout your event to create longevity.
Our boutique and studio is in the Ballard neighborhood of North Seattle, where cute shops, creative minds and coffee shops are a forefront. Our studio services are split between Seattle and LA. Available for travel beyond.
